An artfully captured coastal wedding on 16mm film.
There were many factors that made this wedding come together in a way that any artist could appreciate. The best part of covering this beautiful event was the minimized stressed around photo and video. Alex and Nick handing that off to Austin Trenholm and I, and the trust was there.
There was no cheesy wedding poses or expectations. The day simply unfolded, and we were entrusted to film it as we saw it happening--no gimmicks or fake ideas to create moments that weren't really there.
I want this film to take them back. When Alexandra walks down the aisle with her mother, it reminds her of her late father, whom she carries in her heart. When the scene of the lighthouse illuminates the screen, they are reminded of the first few moments they shared when Nick proposed there only months prior. Every frame with a purpose.
